Two Panes Glazing Apprenticeship Program
Two Panes Glazing has a U.S. Department of Labor-certified Glazing Apprenticeship Program designed to develop highly skilled, safety-conscious licensed glaziers.
Over the course of four years, apprentices complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and more than 433 hours of classroom instruction. Apprentices work alongside experienced glaziers on residential and commercial projects throughout Chicagoland, gaining real-world experience and technical proficiency alongside a formal classroom-based education.
Our program emphasizes technical proficiency, jobsite safety, and professional craftsmanship—preparing apprentices for long-term success in the glazing industry.
Each applicant will undergo a probationary period of six months prior to the start of the four-year apprenticeship. During this probationary period, pre-apprentices will obtain certain basic industry-wide certifications, as well as complete introductory glazing classes.
Once passed the probationary period. Apprentices will begin their regular glazing classes and will dedicate one workday a week to complete four hours of structured classroom time, and four hours of supervised skills training.
